Holmes City Berries #1 Quick and Easy Fresh Strawberry Pie
1—3oz pkg. cook ‘n serve vanilla pudding 1—3oz pkg. strawberry Jell-O (Sugar Free works too!) 1 cup water
Mix above ingredients together and boil until mixture starts to thicken. Pour over fresh sliced strawberries in a graham cracker or traditional pie crust. Cool and top with Cool Whip.
Strawberry Almond Feta Salad Almonds In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the almonds, stirring frequently, until lightly toasted. Remove from heat, and set aside. In a bowl, prepare the dressing by whisking together the garlic, honey, Dijon mustard, raspberry vinegar, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil. In a large bowl, toss together the toasted almonds, romaine lettuce, strawberries, and feta cheese. Cover with the dressing mixture, and toss to serve.
Strawberry Pretzel Dessert Crust: 2 Cups crushed pretzels 3/4 cup margarine 3 Tb sugar Mix and pat in 9x13in pan and bake for 7 minutes at 350 degrees
2nd Layer: 8oz cream cheese 8oz Cool Whip 1 cup sugar Beat until smooth and spread over the cool crust
3rd Layer: 2 Boxes of strawberry Jell-O (3.5 oz.) 2 Cups hot water Dissolve Jell-O and let cool. When cooled, add 2 .5 cups of fresh strawberries (or 10oz of frozen strawberries). Let the Jell-O partially set, and then pour over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate.
Strawberry Melt in Your Mouth Cake Cake: 2qts fresh strawberries, mashed (1qt for cake 1qt for icing) 1 box White Cake Mix 1 box strawberry Jell-O 4 eggs well beaten 3/4 cup of oil
Add 1 qt. mashed strawberries, 2 eggs, mix well. Pour over cake mix. Using a mixer, mix well before adding the oil. Mix all ingredients well. Bake in (3) 9-in cake pans that have been sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min. Remove from pans and cool.
Icing: 1qt mashed strawberries 1—3oz pkg. instant vanilla pudding 1—8oz container Cool Whip
Mix pudding and strawberries well with a spoon. Fold in the Cool Whip. Ice cake in layers.
Strawberry Salsa 2.5 cups finely chopped strawberries 1 cups chopped green pepper 2 Tbsp chopped green onion 2 Tbsp minced parsley 1/3 cup Catalina dressing Dash hot pepper sauce Black pepper to taste Tortilla chips
In a bowl, combine the strawberries, green pepper, green onion, and parsley. Stir in the salad dressing, hot pepper, and black pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve with tortilla chips.
